With diversity and inclusiveness among its core values, The People’s Federal Credit Union is committed to making its website accessible to all, including people with disabilities.
The People’s Federal Credit Union has begun to use the tool Siteimprove to ensure new and existing pages on the www.tpfcu.com website comply with best practices and standards as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria are organized around four principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust. These principles lay the foundation necessary for anyone to access and use the WEB content. The tool provides a scan result that indicates the accessibility of our website.
The People’s Federal Credit Union is updating its website pages to ensure compliance and once completed, will continue to test the site to make sure that all content on the site is accessible to all visitors.
